All time most popular PM list is topped by Narendra Modi followed by Indira Gandhi. There may be lot of similarities between them like the ability to take tough decisions and sometime they look like a dictator but there is a major difference.
Indira Gandhi team or cabinet was full of chamchas which led to only one decision maker – herself. But why blame Indira Gandhi for being dictator and dynastic? All these things stared by PM Nehru only. Sonia Gandhi was super PM and Dr. Manmohan Singh was just caretaker PM selected because he is old, has no political base and hence harmless for RaGa’s political future.
This is one of the difference between congress and BJP. UPA government had chamchas or sycophant like Ambika Soni, Randeep Surjewala, Jayanti Natarajan, Mani Shankar Aiyar etc. while BJP had target oriented ministers. Narendra Modi cabinet means business – perform or perish. Some eminent people were dropped like Suresh Prabhu, Jayant Sinha, Dr. Harshavardhan, Prakash Javadekar, Ravi Shankar Prasad etc.
